BETH GIBSON LILJA

Founder and Owner

Beth Gibson Lilja has specialized in professional organizing for over 20 years. Through her company, BGL & Associates, LLC, Beth brings order and peace of mind to individuals and groups. She organizes home offices, photographs and events.

As an independent consultant to and adviser for direct-sales photo preservation companies, Beth has helped hundreds of people preserve and showcase their histories. She is certified by the Association of Personal Photo Organizers. Beth also plans and hosts countless photo preservation events and hobby retreats.

As a home and office organizer, Beth saves clients time and simplifies personal and professional lives. Her help makes days run more smoothly. Beth specializes in assisting busy professionals who lack the time and/or skills required to get—and stay—organized. Beth is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.

Beth has served as president of Minnesota Business Women and in positions at local, state and national levels. Her accomplishments place her in demand as a trainer and inspirational speaker. Currently, Beth serves as a board member of Minnesota Business Women and the National Association of Professional Organizers – Minnesota.

A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Beth lives in Golden Valley, Minnesota with her husband Patrick and their dog Caribbean (Cari). She loves to travel and has always been a natural organizer.

TERESA DAY

Operations Manager

A self-professed “communications expressionist,” Teresa Day has a portfolio career which includes cloud coordination, word processing, administrative support, marketing, travel & tourism, broadcasting, therapeutic massage, and barista. This diverse background makes her a great multi-tasker. It also means that she finds interest in every endeavor she undertakes.

Teresa has spent the better part of 25 years as a stage manager/floor director for live sporting events and continues to work towards a master’s degree in Technical Writing. 

A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Teresa resides in South Minneapolis.

MARJORIE SIMON

Public Relations Manager

Margie Simon, principal of Simon & Associates Public Relations, is an award-winning marketer with a 30-year history of converting quiet people and companies into household names. She works with entrepreneurs, Fortune 100 companies, ad agencies and nonprofit organizations. Her work has won international, national and state-wide honors for writing, videos, brochures and media relations.

Clients have included corporations such as 3M, International Paper and other global manufacturers, B2B companies, individuals and the internationally acclaimed Happy to Be Me doll. Margie has served on numerous boards of directors and is a contributing author for a marketing communications text book. She has also guest lectured at several Minnesota universities.

For fun, Margie is percussion section leader in the Calhoun-Isles Community Band. She is also a volunteer usher for the Minnesota Orchestra, and a volunteer cashier for the nonprofit Good Grocer. An avid dog lover, Golden Retrievers and Labradoodles will find no better friend than Margie. Finally, she relishes time with her siblings, five of whom live in the Twin Cities area, and invigorating walks or bikes around Lake of the Isles, in Minneapolis.

LAURA RICHTERS

Photo Operations Specialist

Laura Richters has been an avid scrapbooker for over 25 years now and loves both traditional and digital scrapbooking. Through the years, she has completed multiple scrapbooks for her children, as well as nieces and nephews. But she now focuses on making digital scrapbooks, along with many different gifts that are possible with digital photos.


Having worked in retail for over 20 years, Laura is a good problem solver. Most recently she was the seasonal manager while running the green house in her local farm store. This included planning, set-up, ordering, and maintaining throughout the planting season. One of the things she loves most about the work environment is maintaining great communication between co-workers and management.   


Laura is married and lives in Luverne, a small town in southwest Minnesota.  She and her husband have four adult children and now two grandsons. She loves spending as much time as she can with family.  Laura also loves flower gardens, and she is looking forward to helping you save and organize your family legacy.

LINDSAY WESSLING

Photo Operations Specialist

Lindie has been an avid scrapbooker for over 30 years and has worked with traditional and digital scrapbooking formats. Through the years, she has completed many books for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. At this time in her life, she focuses on creating digital scrapbooks using the Artisan 6 format to create beautiful and different pages. She also loves creating all of her gifts using her own photos and Artisan 6.


Lindie has had a long career, over 40 years, as a special education teacher. She retired from that career almost three years ago to pursue her new passion of helping clients Save, Organize and Share their family digital photo legacy.


Lindie has been married to Terry for over 45 years and lives in a small suburb of Minneapolis, Robbinsdale. She has three adult children and five grandchildren. She loves spending time with the family and loves to travel in the Wolf Pup travel trailer to see them. She looks forward to helping you create your photo gifts, albums, and to helping you save and organize your family legacy.

CARIBBEAN LILJA

Chief Morale Officer

Caribbean joined BGL & Associates, LLC on December 5, 2009 to provide support in team morale.

Cari, as she likes to be called, is a natural-born motivator, overseeing all in-studio workshops as well as offering advice on design and content development. Her skills include effective listening and time management.

Originally from the Cats Meow Dog Bark Rescue Organization, Cari holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Barking, a Master’s in Nickname-Acquiring, and a Doctorate in Booty Shaking.

Cari’s free time is spent engaging squirrels in active conversation, visitor welcomes, and short walks around the neighborhood. She has also been featured as the May 2017 Sidewalk Dog Media Facebook Page Cover Dog and on Twin Cities Live for the four-legged Halloween costume fashion show in October 2016.
